Paquito Gonzalez teaches Cajon!


Paquito González, born in Cadiz, lives and breathes flamenco percussion. He has been working professionally as a percussionist since he was 14 years old.  with leading flamenco guitarrists and cantaores of the 21st century including Manolo Sanlúcar, Carmen Linares, Miguel Poveda, Arcángel, José Mercé, El Pele, Remedios Amaya, Vicente Amigo, Carles Benavent, etc.  Just some of the dancers he has accompanied include Israel Galván, Rocío Molina, Mercedes Ruiz, Pastora Galván. He has performed all around the world at international festivals and events, and theatres he has performed at include The Royal Albert Hall (London), Carnegie Hall (New York), Liceo (Barcelona), Teatro Real (Madrid), Konzerthaus de Vienna, Blue Note de Tokio. He has also recorded extensively with Miguel Poveda, Marina Heredia, Jose Merce and Vicente Amigo. He also has a teaching background and has been sharing his love of percussion and Cajon for many years to students.
