Manly Cajon Workshop with Byron Mark

If you’ve ever wanted to play a Cajon and learn some funky world rhythms, this is the place to be! Byron brings to you a 4 week course teaching you technique, world grooves and fun performance ideas.

Currently performing flamenco and African percussion in many ensembles around Australia, Byron also loves to share his passion for rhythm. His rhythmic arrangements fuse elements of flamenco, African and modern funk/pop grooves to create a fun and fresh approach to Cajon playing and drum workshops.

Byron and his Cajon ensemble, the ‘Cajon Cats’ released their debut live video clip earlier this year, and are currently working on their second one! This gives you a glimpse into the rhythmic fun in Byron’s workshops, and the awesomeness of all the Cajonero’s!

Hope you can come and join the Cajon Cats in September and learn some new funky, world rhythms – ole!!
